The third Fed4FIRE Engineering Conference (FEC) will be organised on 14-16 March 2018 in Paris, France.

The Engineering Conferences are 3 day events (organised twice a year) with a mix of plenary and parallel sessions. The sessions consist out of talks, tutorials and technical discussions and there is also a demo night session where experimenters, developers, projects, etc. can present their latest work, ready to inspire others in the community.

4th Annual International Conference on Communication and Management (ICCM2018)

The main purpose of this Annual International Conference is to bring together academics, students, researchers and professionals from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds, so as to encourage them present their work, communicate, exchange and collaborate. Academics and professionals can participate by presenting a paper, chairing a session, organising a panel, or even just by being an observer.

The Communication Institute of Greece (COMinG) was established in 2003 in France. In Greece, since 2013, it appeared as an independent academic association that has for mission to become a forum, where academics and researchers – from all over the world – can meet in Greece to exchange ideas on their research and to discuss future developments in their disciplines.

The conference is under the auspices of the The European Economic Interest Grouping. Additionally the Center of Intercultural Dialog and The Braun Foundation for International Exchange are promotion partners.

Fees

The registration fee is €300 (euro), covering access to all sessions, 2 lunches, coffee breaks and conference material. In addition, a number of cultural activities are organised such as a Greek Night entertainment with dinner, an educational tour around Athens (includes the Acropolis), a social dinner, a Greek islands’ cruise and a one-day visit to Delphi. A special price is reserved for ICCM2018 conference participants (you will get more information with your Acceptance Letter).

Conference Topics

Papers can include topics on the areas of Communication, Management, and Marketing. Related disciplines will be considered, including papers on Education for the panel.

The event is co-organized by the IoT Forum and IK4-TEKNIKER.

EuCNC 2018 @ Cultural and Congress Centre Cankarjev Dom

EuCNC 2018 is the 27th edition of a successful series of a technical and scientific conference open to the world research community, sponsored by the European Commission, in the area of Telecommunications, focusing on communication networks and systems, and reaching services and applications.

It aims at showcasing the results of the consecutive programmes on R&D and projects co-financed by European programmes, as well as presenting the latest developments in this area.

EUCNC2018 will take place in the Cultural and Congress Centre Cancarjev Dom (https://www.cd-cc.si/en). The venue is located in the city centre, right next to the pedestrian zone in the old town of Ljubljana.

The conference has a not for profit organisation, hence, registration fees are as low as possible, and all surplus will be made available in grants. The conference will be indexed in the major databases. Best Paper Awards will be granted. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore and other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

MISSION

Academia and Industry engage in challenging tasks in which they draw upon personal strengths and diverse experiences, create meaningful connections, and develop innovative problem-solving skills in the Future Multimedia Internet ecosystem through FLAME Platform. With the confidence and character gained from these experiences, Academia and Industry pursue their individual passions and participate responsibly and effectively in their communities.

GOAL

To promote FLAME Platform as an infrastructure for FMI development and experimentation within academia and industry. The FMI ecosystem will allow FLAME to experiment, improve and extend the capabilities of the platform, through personalized, participatory media; collaborative, interactive transmedia narratives; and location-based augmented reality; and more. This will be enabled through the FLAME platform’s “PIML” characteristics that provide a quality of experience (QoE) oriented focus for the design and realization of digital media services running on the FLAME platform.
